Hello,

It's been two weeks since we launched this: SPRUNG: Creative. Unity version of the site.  I have managed to mitigate some of the bugs and what not, but now the time is ripe to start growing the site further.

We will start with that obvious, grey box (at the top with © Y+Y underneath) that everybody has been asking us about, just so we clarify what it is:

 … what we want to do is showcase your work on it and in doing so, show you some link-love with your work linking to your site, portfolio, blog and/or twitter-account.

Just so you know there is some value to it: Y+Y (Yamutsi Yoshikawa, some of might remember him) allowed us access to his 'blog' stats to see what had changed:

… before S83 relaunched, his site had only been visited 2 thousand times, but now, in 2 weeks that jumped to 24 thousand site views: and averaging 'bout 900 page views per blog post.

Which got me thinking:

we need to give that 'grey-box' thing a name: the best name I got is: THE DROP OFF.

So, if you are interested in contributing your work, so we can showcase it here? If so, please send us mail with your work with the following limitations:

1. 600 pixels wide exactly (or we will have to crop it);
2. Images: JPG, PNG and GIF's (no animations, for now)
3. Send them to: we(at)studio83.co.za
4. Subject: The Drop Off;
5. Include your name (alias) and website/blog/twitter URL

and we wait for your feedback: if you have questions, please do let us know — this is first time we are doing something of this nature, so we are most likely to get things wrong or twisted, your ideas or thoughts are definitely needed.
