  1. Not really.

Print is dead, long live the pixel.

Jokes aside: print is only dead because most of owners of these print magazines are not smart enough to realise the value of print (if you think hard about, print has value, and I ain't sharing what value that is, yet).

they refused to adapt, fact everything on the planet adapts or dies, simple as that.

but adaptation does not mean conformity.

    1ove, pixelated.

  2. actually, come to think of it. Based on those 'headlines' (those little titles they have on that cover): Vibe deserves to die!

I remember a time, when I used to have consecutive copies of Vibe --- with those (un)cover(ed) stories on the above issue: I'd rather buy WAD.

Print is, also, dead because good publications want to match the sales of tabloids. (my un-researched 2¢ reason) -- don't they know there is a waiting list for Buggatti but none for Mahindra?

  3. LOL @ arganasations

*pssst: Firefox has a spell checker.

    *hides

for me its the same thing that heppened to traditional record companies! They put a lot of money on lawsuits to shut down peer to peer file sharing sites when they should have been putting capital into evolving to become the new wave. Some of them were even class actions if I recall. The likes of Apple, a computer company, with the Apple store had to come up with a working model first, Gaaaaaarrd!!!!!! (ala Napoleon Dynamite)
