I thought this was very interesting --- "definition of beauty" because we all have a different perspective or opinion what beauty is - some base it on the physical, some on personality ... what makes one beautiful, that is the question?
Beauty is derived from the norm. It is usually a misconception due to various western standards of beauty. Many celebrities conform to this misconception. Some conform by getting quite expensive cosmetics surgery and others who try to be defiant suffer quietly as they represent the “other” in the beauty expectations propelled by the mass media.

beauty is not the physical, it's you yourself seeing the beauty within you (cos everyone has it) and going out into the world with that
@Writer chick - i hear you - but if the physical doesnt matter that much - then why do we pay so much attention to it?
@BeezyObaby - i fully agree - i believe that when you are content with yourself --- it will show on the outside too
@Beezy - plastic surgeons, stylist, cosmetics companies, fashion houses etc would disagree with u, i mean they have millions of customers to proof that beauty is a physical thing!
beauty is a physical thing coz the eye is the first thing that meets to a person i guess.
i have a blind friend who taught me that beauty goes beyond what the eye sees. when he had a crush on a girl n id ask what he likes about her he talked about things that i din even think about when it comes to aspects i like bout my man.
hmmm - well i think its a bit of both, becoz you will get attracted to the physical and also the not so physical aspects of the person - but the outside does count for something
