Hello all

It's been a month already and the only way I know this is because my 30day Thailand VISA expires very soon. I've been stuck on the beautiful, party beach and diving island of Koh Tao for two weeks longer than I anticapated. But hey, no plans right.

Thailand is just on of those places one who's not from Thailand just has to see before thye bother their loved ones with arranging they're coffin and stuff. The people are really, super friendly - especially if they've got something to sell. And meeting tourists is a really easy and most people are willing to have a chat or to go back to your appartment (but that's a story for another day).

Bangkok was OK I guess but I didn't really enjoy it. I was living in the most touristy part of the city. I woke up on my first day arriving to what I can only describe as a stomach turning smell from the street vendors. I didn't know what they were cooking but they were all cooking it with the same wreched ingredients. So I had to retreat to the sensory safety of my guesthouse room. After having one of the vendor's meals though I quickly become accustomed to the smell they were all giving off. In fact, it made me hungry.

And the food is stupid cheap, really tasty and super filling around here. You can have a curry and rice with a soda for the equivalent of a Happy Meal. I've become an absolute seafood/greencurry & seafood/padthai addict. It's sooooo good it makes you wanna slap a Thai's momma.I also managed to eat the worst burger I have ever eaten which also happened to be the most expensive burger I have ever eaten - the equivalent of R60. The western food here is expensive and not really that good, I've come to realise ... to be continued
