Avusa was the worst acquisition made by Mvela...

the again, i'll keep that out the topic...

media in SA needs to be reinvented - we cant stick to old ways of doing things and we dont have enough entrepreneurs to even begin to tackle the problem. then there's access to finance... we will continue to see the same people in media (or other industries for that matter) simply because they geared up and are not even looking back.

there is no culture of venture capitalism in SA, and any semblance of such activity is mainly for those who already have access to finance.

Chimurenga is not yet here... not yet uhuru... aluta continua...

we are so far from the mark.. we're not even a third of the way... they still call us the "emerging market" masked with that silly term "Black Diamond" all it mean is - no money. no real money anyway...
