Might get in trouble for this but this is solely done for creative reasons.
I’ve been checking out a lot of shoots and stuff ... no there’s no point me posting dope shoots without breaking down why they are nice or rather others why they are not that nice. Hopefully this will do the trick...
I think that posture is very important when it comes to shoots; they came make or break a shoot. That is why the art director or photographer should motivate the models to get the best out of them ... more like an alter-ego set up. Most times when models are not comfortable with people, environment, idea or concept then the shoot will fail.
Like I said posture is everything. This demonstrates what I mean; [the above image demostrates the wrong way of doing it] this can be blamed on the model, photographer or the art director. I’ve been to shoots where people get to a shoot and no one [including the art director] has at least a concept for the shoot. Basically they will shoot and see what happens...
I always say that when one plans a shoot, the concept must be strong enough to a point that even if everything else fails - the concept must be able to hold it down on its own.

obviously black and white will have an advantage over colour ... its easier to make make black and white work.
haai, to each his own hey! one of these images speak to me more than the other, and its got colour in it. Creatively speaking I mean, :)
Good postures and excellent photography
