The need in Joburg for well-produced concerts with a credible line up has led to the creation of Wazwa!, a monthly event aimed primarily at satisfying the growing market of live music supporters, incorporating top class production and some of the coolest Dj’s on the planet.
The line up varies and will include Hip Hop, Rock, Urban and Electronic acts in the coming months, combining the taste for live music and good dancing under one roof. Concert culture is here, launching on the 10th April at the Bassline in Newtown.
Wazwa! Volume 1: Bring the Music The events are scheduled for every second Saturday of each month. Wazwa! Vol.1: Bring the Music features Kwani Experience, Blk Jks, Zubz and DJs Blaq T and Romz Deluxe. All acts are household names in the Joburg indie and alternative mainstream scenes and have toured extensively. The venue has been booked through until August for a total of 6 events.
