Hailing from the streets of Vanderbyl Park, comes one Hailing from the streets of Vanderbyl Park, comes one of SA’s most talented DJ’s right now, a young man who is making waves by being a step ahead of the game…. introducing Master M.

Currently one of a very select few, multi-talented video-mixing DJ’s in the country, this young man has already worked with big ‘dogs like DJ Fresh, Rob Vember, Euphonik and Fikile ‘Fix’ Moeti, in his total of 5 short years in the industry.

This humble young man’s love for music began at an early age when he began composing audio storyboards on cassettes at the age of 10, using a boom box, his favourite songs and his voice.

He picked up DJ’ing in high school when he got his hands on old turntable and few random records lying around the family home. When a friend commented on his DJ’ing skill and suggested the alias DJ Master M, there was no looking back for Mike Lysko.
 
In 2005, 21 year old, B.Com student he founded event management company, Hot Soup Entertainment.

After completing his degree in 2006, this ‘one-horse’ town boy travelled around England, Europe and Thailand to get exposure to the world.

His DJ’ing career officially kicked off in 2007 when he collaborated with rock band, Changing Face, giving the band a digital flavour as their DJ…

Drawing inspiration from people within the game, including DJ’s, producers, MC’s and even beat-boxers, this 26 year old has a vast collection of most musical genres; from Jazz, Disco, 80’s, Hip Hop, House, Funk, Rock to Drum & Bass, you can be certain that no set will be the same.
