the first time I saw this video it was on Zero Hour Zone or Toyota Top 20 [dont remember much though] ... but i didnt like the song then but video was always cool to watch ...

Im not a fan of the song but I dig the video... This video shows that a vid can make the song.

The song is dope. The video is dope.
Firstly, the video was directed by Michel Gondry (look him up — he directed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind): he is a god when it comes to using video as creative medium.
Secondly, look at the video again, whilst listening to the song, here is what you will observe.
Each of those characters: mummy's, skeleton's, ladies in beachwear, et al: represent different parts of the song: snare, hi-hats, drum, melody, words.
Michel Gondry took apart the song and added dances sequences based on each element of the of the song;
that is pure genius.
