Good Morning Everyone ...
S83 is not gonna drop today as planned and here are the reasons why ...
Time: #s83 doesn’t pay my bills, so that means I do a 9-5 to be able to pay for my place, car, etc.
Growth: I’m also responsible for other magazines [Celebrate Life & Marvin] - Vuyo Lutseke & Karabo Lediga will take over CL and Marvin, will be closely involved with putting together Marvin. Mosa Mahlaba has agreed to help out with 7 Deadly Sins issue.
Help: I need help in terms of designers because i'm getting tired of my own style and it’s starting to look a bit stale. It would be cool to have young designers with fresh eyes to come through. It would be cool also to get a female designer for CL.
Money: Currently we are not making money out of s83 [well until the Nike ads/campaign pays out] - money will be used to pay for servers/internet/shoots etc until we get investor so we can be able to hire staff.
Contributors: Writer Chick has been killing it on #s83, I totally digg her music taste and Gugu Lethu has been holding down the Fashion Fridays spot. Lebogang Nkoane has been bringing his alter Native self into this [bow]. Now we are looking for more contributors for #s83 and #cl to growth family.

dude, are you losing your love for this mag? i mean you did not have to openly say that it does not pay you bills. i as a reader, i don't care about that, to me it sounds like you are washing your hands of this empire you have build
*suggestion, work on the mag when you don't have a lot of food on your plate, the daily updates keep guys like me and others hooked on to this site/blog.
*do not have a time constraint on when you should drop the next issue, like you said "S83 does not pay your bills", so let it drop when all contributions from the old and "new dogs ( meaning Non *tired, Non a bit stale writers and designers )" has been supplied. besides we will continue to download and support S83 all the way.
im not washing my hands ... il never do that at all - this is my dream. Never confuse that, ever. The admin takes more of my time than the actual designing of the magazine - im just keeing everyone in the loop of why certain things dont happens when they should. Now the admin i do is always leaning towards s83 being able to maintain itself so that it moves forward. So that it Grows accordingly ...
I dont own s83 the people do, so i believe that it is unfair for me not to let the people know whats going on behind the scenes and that post is more about more about growth and understanding the back end of it.
Im with Karabo on the 'we dont care if it dont pay the bills' but in the same breath just because you love something doesnt mean its easy...
so give yourself a pat on the back G, you (too) have done a wonderful job.

heres the thing --- its like if you know how the engine works then you would know how to fix when the car when it breaks down ... im just letting you guys in on some difficulties these bring to the table - yes its not your concern. It would be even worse if we were to shut down [not that this would happen, but im using this as an example] without you guys knowing about - it would unproffessional of me to do so ... i know you guys love s83 and im humbled about it but letting in to hint that i might need you help to move this into the next level ---
i hear that, but what i said was that "it sounds like", i never mean't to make it look like am confusing your role on S83 because in actual fact it is what is today because of you.
i agree with everything thats been said. GG we know at some point its gone drop and till it does we wail patiently.

I understand why you haven't dropped the mag yet. This is your baby, your dream...and instead of just pleasing your readers by dropping the mag...you'd rather explain to us why it's taking a while longer.
This is your dream, and you don't wanna give us shoddy work...you're a perfectionist....and there's nothing wrong with it!
Keep up the great work!
