In tune with what we discussed earlier — a friend of mine (and the extended network of people they know) run Bopasenatla Career Day.
So as to not distort a message said, I quote:
Hi Friends,
I trust you’re all well.
As some of you already know, a group of us are planning a career day
at Bopasenatla School in
Diepkloof Soweto on Saturday
22 May 2010.
Quite a few volunteers have come forward, but there are still quite a few fields that don’t have representation, especially the following:
- Doctor
- Physiotherapist
- Designer
- Police officer/Prison officer
- Pilot
- Social worker
- Architect
- Hotel management
- Travel and tourism
- Environmentalist
- Journalist
- Editor
- Musician
As you can see, there are quite a few careers that we’re running the risk of not exposing the kids to, so we need your help.
Please could you assist either by volunteering your time or forwarding to your friends/colleagues/family who might be able to assist.
