I think this is a cool idea to support African countries who are participating in the Soccer World Cup
When it was announced in 2004 that South Africa would finally host the FIFA World Cup, Africans were elated because it was presented as an African world cup. But when the celebrations settled down, the reality of creating the proper infrastructure, building stadiums and making SA ready for the world cup kicked in, but the focus became internal and in many ways the concept of an African world cup took a back seat
After many hard fought battles on the pitch, six countries from Africa managed to qualify for 2010, coining the phrase the “African 6 Pack”, since then LOC CEO Danny Jordaan has repeatedly requested local and international fans to “support Africa’s six pack”. But, to be frank, nothing concrete has emerged until now!
