When Ebony got their new look, i was hoping that Truelove would also catch on but then again you be the judge on which cover you would pick up on the stands - they should have have a new designer now, so things might change. They have a new fashion suppliment inside done by Mbali Soga ... it looks really cool.
I dont like the Ebony's font though, its either its too curvey or its too all over the place or just both, but we like the background colour - it stands out.
Aha! ive been saying this for the longest time, that Destiny and Destiny Man can't/shouldn't be the same or be designed by the same person - it makes no sense. We are glad that Destiny has a new look.
I personally think that Destiny Man shouldve been named something else actually - even if they deal with the same category but have different names, for growth, no?

a little off topic, but why, oh why do the fashion/beauty peeps at s.a mags insist on painting those rosy cheeks on black girls which ends up with the poor covergirls one makeup brush shy of clowns?
and ebony's font puts me off. i wouldn't touch any of those mags. maybe destiny if it was in the doctor's office.
if i had to choose one out of the 3, i would go with Ebony
mainly because i still need to open the mag to find out what's inside
whereas the other mags have every article headline on the cover

Amen! less is more ... TL looks way cheaper inside too, theres no sleekness whatsoever. hmmm, im loving how jet looked like crap then came back like Jordan!

oh and their target market 27 years old females - i was saying - a 27 years old would want something eligant, sexy, easy to read but inspiring, no?

with True Love i don't even know where to look or which part to read first and if thats Destiny's new look, am afraid to see the old look.
