Being a New Yorker the one thing I envy about California girls is their style. Its simple, yet sophisticated. Girly and glam, but not over-the-top. It's the California Chic look... you know that EVERY girl wants: to look effortlessly put together in a stand-out way! It's never just jeans and a t-shirt, but it's always pairing simple, flowy items! So how do you get this
"I don't care what I look like but I really do" look?
Just peice together the right flowy and shapely solids with the right accessories, its all in the minute detailing.
To demonstrate I paired this adorable Matthew Williamson mini skirt with a bold colored H&M blouse. The detail lies in the accent bow at the back of these super fab Karen Millen heels. Karyn Millen is the queen of girly glam by the way.
To add personal touches to this look you could always grab some oversized Tom Ford Shades along with a chic over-sized leather bag. In this case though I paired a mixed print heard shaped pouch, also to prove that mixing prints can work. This ensemble is a little daring but flattering all the way around: take the risk!
