i wouldn't date a friend because i can't be attracted to a friend, that's just me
if i want to date you, we'll date from the onset
but once we become friends, that's sacred and should stay as such

and to answer your question, no a good woman isn't hard to find
the key is to be a good man yourself, all will piece itself together
and if you do find that girl that isn't good, you're looking in the wrong places at the wrong people

ok i hear you - but now you only hear one side of the story [which is her's] - you never get the full story hence why is people are different when they are jolaring compared to being friends ... yes you would know her "emotional stability" as a friend but not as a lover

You misinterpret me -- if I have her as a friend I would have first-hand knowledge on her "emotional stability, domestic values, and how she treats a man".

you are basing your argument on apperance part and not the values this article is talking about ... is she emotional stabile, does she have good domestic values, and simply does she know how to treat a man?

I'd date my friend:
a) we're over the awkward stage
b) I've seen her without make up
c) I've seen her with all kinds of weave/braids (whatever else finds refuge on her head -- including her natural)
d) I already enjoy her company
e) technically -- she's already been woo-ed
