I never understood the obsession with wrist watches amongst men until I got one as a birthday present. Not that now im into wrist watches or anything but they make a difference interms of one's appearance and how people perceve you [not that matters]. Im going through that transition of becoming the Modern Man, so things like this are starting to interest me - more now than ever before. Im also more interested in suits now than ever before.
Apperently theres different watches for different ages/stages of a mans life ... this is determined by the stiches, material, design and size. I think Marvin would approve.

George, "perceive" . as in perception. :) as you were!
ooh, one last thing. I don't know about modern man, but about classical man I can say a bit. In my world, suits and watches, as you've referred to them, are classics. But I guess a modern man can have a classical style, innit?
