William Michael Griffin Jr. or as you know him better, Rakim, was born today, January 28, in 1968. So what better day to celebrate his birthday than on TBF. The man's exceptional flow and complex lyrical craftsmanship has been bumped on stereos by heads all over the world. He is best known as one half of Eric B. & Rakim. Eric B. & Rakim's classic album Paid in Full was named the greatest hip hop album of all time by MTV. They recorded 3 albums after that and he went solo.
