And then of course, where there’s the Good and the Bad, there must be the Ugly. I must admit, I pride myself in being open minded when it comes to music. I will defend anything and listen to anything if it’s worth it. But sometimes, I hear things that actually hurt my eardrums. I mean literally here, when I can feel a wincing sensation in my ears. And that music is the likes of Lil Wayne, Lil John, T-Pain even Nicki Minaj – among other artists in this same vein.
I am realistic though. There is a big market out there that thinks that this is good music. These artists wouldn’t keep making this music, they wouldn’t be around if there wasn’t someone out there jamming to it. As for me…I just can’t.
I liked Nicki when she was more under me thinks ... i cant listen to her now even though there 1 or 2 tracks i kinda like but nje ... no ways
i just think that it's all well and good to want to make some money from mainstream music, but you have to present some balance if you are to be considered as a serious artist
by serious i mean, you're in it for the art and not for the money...
