So Joburg Fashion Week has come and gone, and there were some remarkable moments during the 5-day spectacular.  Let’s look at what turned out to be the most sought-after show ticket, David Tlale’s show, which ended up being over-subscribed, with people scrambling to get in.

THE GOOD:

The collection was fantastic, as was the eye-candy in the form of celebrity models that made up the 92-body collection.

THE BAD:

King David made his guests wait for two hours to see his show. Considering that when ladies go out, there is much shoulder, chest and leg to be seen, this outdoor waiting exercise was no fun.

THE UGLY:

It was not really necessary to have to walk all the way from the bottom of the bridge to the middle to get to one’s seat. Surely the shuttles that so efficiently carted guests from one venue to the other could have driven a little bit further?!

There is nothing classy about a woman in impossible-to-walk-in platform heels, hiking her way up a suspended bridge. Nothing.

    #insert two cents

the man needs to check himself
he's no Karl Lagerfeld to be making people wait that long
it's downright disrespectful to the very people that make you as successful as you are
