Good day S83'ins
It's been a while, I know. I've been rather lazy and uninspired. There's nothing worse than having nothing to say, but saying something anyway, so I've opted for silence. After chatting to GG earlier and telling him as much, I realised that there is something that is inspiring that I've been hooked on. The new Pharoahe Monch album, W.A.R.
Hip hop albums are a dime a dozen it would seem these days, but hip hop albums worth collecting? The rarest breed. Which is why my appreciation for this album is so deep. Pharoahe Monch took his time on this album and it shows and I am in awe of that.
Anyway, I won't go on, I'd much rather have it come from the horse's mouth.
And with that said, here is my favourite track in the album, Assassins featuring Jean Grae (who kills it by the way) and Royce Da 5'9.
"I'm in Guantanamo Bay takin pics in a captain morgan pose with my left foot on a pile of detainees screaming: We Are Renegades!"

This is a great album.
I love the "Still standing" joint.
I must say I've been hooked on this too.
