See I was -- born in sewage, born to make bomb music / Flow tight like I was born Jewish — Jay Z
At times, life gets so unfair and tough to a point where you may cry or disappear into a deep dark hole where no one can find you. This is why one needs to believe in something bigger than what the eye can see ... usually God comes into the picture. I heard a story over the weekend of a young 15-16 year-old girl who is treated badly by her mother - the mother even told her that she was a product of rape, she doesn’t know who her father is and she doesn’t want anything to do with her. At the moment the girl lives with her relatives and finds small jobs over the weekend so that she can be able to buy herself school uniform.
When I was told about her story, there was some sadness about how the narrator told her story. I agree, her story is sad but her struggles will work as fuel towards her future. I see her being an accountant or lawyer with a nice car, place and married to some wonderful guy — and guess who is going to come back into her life, the very same mother who didn’t want her. If one can't draw inspiration to become a better person from the past and bad experiences - then where should one draw that?
