I had to take this out of the archives. This is the very first I ever heard of The Last Emperor. I actually vividly remember the set up - it was Angels, a hip hop matinee, small, dark place, smokey from the herb, heads (pun intended) doing what they do best, bopping.
I remember fucking out to this because of the concept. Because by that time, everyone had had a thought about our favourite MCs battling each other but never quite as cool as Emperor delivered it. It just goes to show how well he knows his hip hop because he had to break down the characteristics of each and every MC comparing them to Marvel comics.
