I am a big fan of typography, not because i understand it better than anyone really, its how i engage with it, it allows me to decide if i like what i am reading in any visual medium.
Being a designer myself one aspires to get to this level as Berjo Mouanga. Berjo is a young graphic designer / illustrator born in Czech Republic with African origins from Congo and Namibia.

nothing makes me happier then seeing awesome typography - it's the most forgotten skill in the new age design portfolio. I was really saddened to hear that typography is no longer treated as a subject at college. Dudes, it's the basis of advertising design. Wake up you money grabbing private colleges out there!!!
this is really true ... my typography game might not be great but i know that before you design anything one needs to find fonts first - then later you can design whatever you want to.
