It’s been a long year and for me I think it went too quickly — it was valentines the other day. This year we experienced the longest winter ever - hope that never happens next year. Its that time when we look back and as human beings we tend to look at mostly the bad than the good that we have done when we reflect on how we have done. So here are my thoughts...
- Firstly I need to acknowledge that its milestone to have reached 5 years of Studio83 this year - not alot of websites live that long but we are not here to compare ourselves with other websites or anyone else for that matter.
- We couldn't have come this far without your support and people believing in us, people submitting their articles, photography, videos and illustrations. We could've made it this far without spelling mistakes - thank you to the ones who corrected my spelling though out this year.
- I keep on forgetting that this dream has nothing to do with me or rather it’s bigger than Lebogang and me. What we do here gets conveyed differently to how we see these dreams personally ... and I think some things I don’t understand the magnitude of what this means to them beside myself.
- To all the contributors, thank you, thank you for your contribution towards Studio83 and to readers your comments always fascinates me at times and at other times they crack me up.
From this point on I wont be posting as regular until next year, I need a little break from s83 then come back with a plan on how to take over next year. To the contributors who would still wanna continue posting during this down time — are more than welcome.
